McLaren is pleased to announce they have been appointed as the Principal Contractor to build Uniserve’s new 1.5 million square foot super distribution centre (DC) at the Port of Felixstowe.
McLaren will construct the super DC which is to be 40 metres high; covering 1.5 million sq ft over four floors providing more than 150,000 racked pallet positions. It is truly ground breaking and built for the future.
The super DC provides UK and European delivery and collection services for packets, parcels, pallets, part and full loads. Uniserve have designed a multi-user facility, which has been based around flexibility and efficiency that will operate multi user and dedicated services to clients DC’s, stores and customers.
