It has been confirmed that McLaren has been awarded places on the seven lots that it bid for on the London Construction Programme (LCP) framework.
Overall, the framework is valued at £5bn across the contractors involved. It lasts for five years, starting July 2019.
The framework is open to all Public Sector Organisations in London and the home counties. McLaren’s lot enable it to work with councils to deliver a range of residential, education, leisure, heritage and capital works.
McLaren’s success is partly due to the commitment to community benefits that the company was able to show during the bidding process. We share the aspiration for LCP to create and leave a long-lasting legacy within Haringey and across London, through employment, healthier living, social inclusion and stronger communities.
Kim Bromley-Derry, board director at McLaren, commented,
“We’re looking forward to working with Haringey and other public sector bodies to help them build stronger communities through delivering these important projects. It’s so important to us to invest in local people and see a positive legacy from our work and what we build.”
