A team of cyclists from the McLaren Group, a Construction and Property Development Company based in the UK & Monaco, set off on their charity fundraiser 1350km bike ride from London to Monaco on the 14th June 2013. This epic ride will include a daunting 12,000m of climbing over a period of 9 days.

The team consists of Kevin Taylor and Terry Torrison, (co-founders of C.O.C.C) alongside Robert Rutter, Simon Rutter and James Harbord, who are collectively committed to raise the £20,000 target for the Wooden Spoon Society.

This charity was founded in 1983 and is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people across the British Isles live happier, richer lives.
They have already ridden from London to Portsmouth then cycled from Caen in the North West of France down towards the south. They are currently day 7 into their journey and on their second day climbing through the Alps, with another arduous day ahead. The team will finish on Saturday 22nd June at the famous Casino Square in Monte Carlo.

Any support is much appreciated, not only by the C.O.C.C but also the Wooden Spoon Society.

“Also, it’s not too late if you or anyone you know wishes to donate to this great cause and for those of you who already have a MASSIVE thank you from us and everyone who is taking part.” – McLaren team
