McLaren has been shortlisted for the RICS Awards 2012 for its Slough Bus Station project in Berkshire under the category for “Design and Innovation”.
“Sustainability is now an embedded criterion in all categories and our new Design and Innovation category provides a further exciting opportunity to demonstrate how outstanding design can enhance our lives. Together with the other categories of Community Benefit, Regeneration and Building Conservation, the RICS Awards truly celebrate excellence in the built environment.” David Tuffin, Chairman of Judges.
Phil Pringle, Managing Director, McLaren said: “This is a highly prestigious award and we are delighted to be shortlisted within this category. It demonstrates a vision within a larger regeneration project and design that tests engineering and construction capabilities.”
