We are pleased to share the appoint of Glen Harding as Commercial Director, responsible for supporting the growth of our Construction Management and Specialist Projects division, focused on large scale real estate and public sector projects. Glen will report directly to Vince Lydon, Managing Director of the division.
Glen has 38 years of experience in the construction industry having held commercial roles at Galliford Try, Skanska and Sir Robert McAlpine as Commercial Director, where he was responsible for the business’s commercial offices contracts delivered across the UK. Glen worked on the Cleveland Clinic in Grosvenor Place and the redevelopment of the St Pancras Hotel, both in London.
Glen is a qualified chartered surveyor who specialised in procurement and contracting as well as construction law early in his career.
Construction Management and Specialist Projects works alongside other divisions within McLaren’s £1 billion business. The new division draws on the business’s decades of experience in design management, collaborating with clients and design teams to minimise the risk of disruption and changes during construction.
